Description: 8 YEAR OLD BUCKSKIN GELDING Smokey is an 8 year old tiger stripped solid line down his back buckskin gelding. The guy that started him was throwing a rope off of him the second day on him. This Horse is dog gentle as well as bomb proof, but is not a dead head. He is 15 hands and 1200 pounds. I have used him to trail ride, hunt, pack trips and hunt antlers. He has seen his share of creeks, rivers, bogs and steep gnarly country. He knows how to take care of his rider and really wants to please you. You can tie him to a tree, hobble or high line him. He is good to catch, trailer, shoe, handle, tack and groom. He has spent all winter in a feed lot working cattle and been exposed to all that can go on there. Opening and closing gates, sorting, doctoring, roping and dragging cattle. This has also exposed him to an immense amount of machinery, trucks, cattle chutes and moving cattle. He has excelled at everything that has been asked of him.
